Las Posadas: Commemorating the Journey

Las Posadas commemorates the journey Joseph and Mary took from Nazareth to Bethlehem, telling the story of how they sought shelter but could only find a place in a stable where baby Jesus would be born. The focus of this celebration is asking for posada, a place to rest, which is celebrated by singing. Our South Campus families and friends spent a special evening celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
