MS Under the Lights and Field Day
Towards the beginning of the year, students and their families are invited to a fun family evening of fellowship on the main football field. In January, students compete in various confidence and teambuilding events on Field Day.
Grand Canyon Trip
A three-day study excursion to the Grand Canyon allows 6th-grade students to experience the cross-curricular integration of Bible, Humanities, Math, Fine Arts, and Science as they explore the wonder of God’s Creation here in our own state of Arizona. This trip is included with tuition.
Catalina Island Trip
A marine biology adventure to Catalina Island in California is a 3.5 day cross-curricular integration (Bible, Humanities, Math, Fine Arts, and Science) adventure steeped in experiential learning. It is a high point of the 7th-grade year. This trip is also included in tuition.
Washington D.C. Trip
The application of virtue and living in community is experienced by our 8th graders through an 8-day, 7-night trip to Washington D.C. and the various historical landmarks surrounding the area. Precise tours and sites vary from year to year but have historically included Williamsburg, Baltimore, Gettysburg, New York, and Philadelphia. This experience is not included in tuition. Parent meetings and payment planning begin many months before the travel dates.
Etiquette Dinner & Dance
8th graders prepare for and attend this fun evening of a formal dinner and dance. In preparation, students learn various dance styles as well as table manners. The school gym is transformed into an elegant ballroom for the event.
